What Our Pest Control Work Covers
Last updated: October 2026
Nebraska Pest Pros provides pest inspections, treatment, monitoring, and prevention advice when included in your estimate or service agreement. The written plan identifies the pests, areas, and work covered.
Treatments are performed according to the product label and applicable law. We follow applicable Nebraska Pesticide Act requirements for commercial applicators; restricted-use pesticides are handled by appropriately certified applicators.
Pesticide storage and handling must follow applicable Nebraska rules and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency requirements.
We also follow applicable EPA container disposal instructions and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200. The Nebraska Department of Agriculture oversees state pesticide programs; the Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy and USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service may have relevant roles for particular environmental or animal-health concerns.
Unless separately agreed in writing, pest control does not include structural repair, cleanup of contaminated materials, wildlife removal, mold work, or treatment of pests outside the approved scope. Any added service requires your approval.
Setting, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged with you by phone, email, or another agreed method. We will confirm the planned date or arrival window and the service address.
Please provide access to the areas listed in your estimate and follow any preparation instructions we give you. Tell us promptly if access needs, occupancy, pest activity, or site conditions change.
To cancel or request a different time, contact us as early as you can using the details in the contact section. We may need to reschedule if weather, safety concerns, unavailable access, or other conditions prevent the agreed work.
A missed visit or late cancellation may affect scheduling; any applicable fee must be disclosed and agreed before it is charged. If you request work beyond the original plan, we will explain the proposed change and any price adjustment and obtain your approval before proceeding. Changes to an appointment do not automatically change other terms of your service agreement.
Estimates, Approved Work, and Payment
An estimate describes the work we expect to perform, the service area, and the quoted charge based on information available at the time. It is not approval for work beyond its stated scope.
Hidden conditions, newly identified pest activity, or a request for additional treatment may require a revised estimate. We will explain any change and obtain your approval before doing added work.
If the proposed scope or price does not work for you, you may decline the additional service; the original approved work remains subject to its written terms. Payment is due as stated in your estimate, invoice, or service agreement.
Please review those documents for the amount, due date, and accepted payment method. We do not promise a price or payment arrangement that is not written and confirmed.
Contact us promptly if you believe an invoice does not match the approved work so we can review it with you.
What to Expect About Service Coverage
Any retreatment commitment or workmanship coverage must be stated in your written estimate or service agreement. These terms can vary by service, pest, property conditions, and the treatment performed; no fixed duration or guarantee applies unless the written agreement says so.
A service may reduce pest activity without preventing pests from returning, particularly where entry points, moisture, food sources, neighboring infestations, or other conditions remain. Follow the preparation and follow-up instructions provided by our technician, and let us know if the covered pest remains active during any written coverage period.
Coverage may not apply to pests, rooms, or conditions outside the approved scope, or where access, preparation, or follow-up requirements were not met. It may also be affected by later changes to the property or conditions beyond the agreed work.
We will review the specific written terms with you; this section does not create a warranty that was not included in your agreement.
Daniel Mercer
Service Expert at Nebraska Pest Pros
I started in pest control in the Omaha area, learning how older basements, changing weather, and the mix of city and rural properties affect pest problems. I built this company to give Nebraska homeowners and businesses clear advice and dependable treatment, from spring ants to rodents seeking shelter in winter.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent permitted by law, Nebraska Pest Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it, or to liability that cannot legally be limited.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, concealed conditions, existing pest entry points, or losses caused by circumstances outside the agreed work, where permitted by law. Our work does not replace building repairs or other services unless those are expressly included in writing.
We use pesticides according to product labels and applicable requirements, including relevant Nebraska Pesticide Act commercial applicator rules and certification requirements for restricted-use pesticides. Handling and disposal follow applicable requirements, including EPA container instructions and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200.
Nothing here authorizes pesticide use contrary to a label or applicable law. Please report a concern promptly so we can review the service and the applicable agreement.
Questions About These Service Terms

Please include your service address and appointment details when relevant, but avoid sending sensitive personal or payment information by ordinary email. We may update these terms from time to time.
